Bring Projects in On Time and On Budget.
SIA’s Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) program focuses on the hands-on aspects of designing and managing security projects and will help you achieve the hallmarks of effective project management — bringing projects in on time and on budget.
The only credential designed especially for the security project manager.
While the CSPM course follows the general structure and principles of a typical project management certification program, this credential is the only one that addresses the unique needs of the security project manager. It requires candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to implement the concepts and tools of professional project management in a security environment.
The CSPM program includes three components: self-study, classroom instruction and practical experience. Successful completion yields:
Improved project planning and implementation
Improved identification and mitigation of risks
Increased financial returns
Increased customer satisfaction
SIA-certified security project managers are taught how to manage all phases of the project lifecycle, as well as factors affecting project costs, stakeholders, estimating, cash flow and risk management. In addition, they are instructed in the terms and applications of security systems as they relate to access control, video systems (CCTV) and Internet Protocol (IP).
Don’t delay your professional development any longer.
The benefits of the CSPM certification include career enhancement, improved job satisfaction and increased recognition of professional achievement. Many have reported receiving salary increases and promotions after earning this credential. Employers report an excellent training return on investment, improved professional and corporate image, and a more productive and efficient workforce.
SIA would like to thank our 2012 CSPM course site host sponsor ASSA ABLOY for its generous support.
